Why is Bella rejected by Edward and Jacob?
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, Bella is rejected by Edward. He rejected her because he thinks she will be safer if he and his family go far away. In his head, it is an act of love. He leaves Bella because he loves her so much that he doesn’t want to hurt her with his vampire abilities. Second, Jacob rejected her too. He cannot see anybody because he is in transformation to become a wolf. He has to stay with the other members of the pack. Moreover, he cannot say his secret. If he says something, the others will know because they are connected by their thoughts.
Why is that movie so popular?
There are many reasons to explain the success of this excellent movie. First of all, before it became a movie, Twilight was a book. It was a really good novel with a lot of admirers. All these admirers want to see the movie of their favourite book. Second, the producer made a really good job to choose the actors. The two principal male actors are beautiful and young. They are perfect to attract the girl teenager. Third, it is a love story with good action. When we watch it, we don’t expect the outcome so we are interested to see what will happen to Bella.

ReplyDelete«New Moon» is an action-packed, a modern day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire and it is about passion, action and suspense.
Thus, this movie is so popular because it is about subjects which interest a lot of teenagers who want to identify themselves to the actors. Indeed, teenagers, who are the most important admirers, can make a movie a worldwide phenomenon.
Furthermore, I don't think this movie is so popular that we think. Indeed, some people like me were disappointed by the adaptation of the book to the cinema because there were more details in the book and the realisator insisted on the physical aspect of the actors and not on the story itself or the feelings...
What extreme sports do on you?
The movie appeals to me some extreme sports like extreme motocross, bungee jumping and free-fall in parachute. Indeed, when Bella tried to drive so fast the moto given by Jacob, it was like extreme motocross.
Then, whe the guys of the wolf pack jumped of a cliff into the sea, it appeals to me bungee jumping or a free-fall in parachute because it is probably the same sensation.
What do you think about the special effects (wolves, vampires...)?
ReplyDeleteI think it is great because it makes another kind of movie. Also, it makes people believing in the story and catches the attention of viewers. When there is a lot of wolves or vampires in the movie it can be too much but in ‘’New moon’’ it is o.k.
What extreme sports do on you?
When I practice an extreme sport, it is to have a feeling that I do not feel common in a sport like hockey, basketball or soccer. It is especially to get adrenaline. When you are on the adrenaline, you feel softer, you can do things more intensive.
